20-YEAR REUNION: STSSS BATCH 1986-1990

It's a memorable moment to be back in my old schools on 29/5/2010. Many beautiful memories....and of course, some sad memories....

Few teachers managed to join us. The food was great. Really felt so great to play football match with my friends against 17-year old students.....

A 20 years deficit didn't bother us much as we managed to beat the young guns....3-2.

Convo...

It's UITM convocation this week. Many happy faces, happy families...
I look forward for my convo this August and hopefully, my wife can make it to join me in the big hall. She's expecting to deliver our 3rd baby this August .....

Perseverance....

It's finally done....the hectic of merging few files together and put the page numbers ended successfully. I asked few friends to figure it out for me and none of them succeeded. I tried my luck....used the most watched videos in the Internet...YOUTUBE.

There were many videos showed the steps to add specific page number to pages, i.e. i, ii, 1, 2, etc. for Word 2007. Now, I can burn a CD for my full thesis and ready for final submission to the Graduate School USM on Tuesday......or Wednesday.....

Wong Fei Hong

I just got an email from a friend....it's about Wong Fei Hong. Interestingly...he's a Muslim....a very pious one. His name was Faizal Hussein Wong borned in Guandon (Kwantung) in 1847. I tried to copy the article....but failed. However, this link perhaps works.

Thomas Cup 2010 Semi Final

It's was really amazing....as Denmark team nearly knocked our shuttlers down in the quarter final match this evening. It was Hafiz Hashim to the rescue. Kudos to him, of course, Lee Chong Wei and KKK & TBH also. Wong Choo Han and newly set-up pair, Fairuz and Han....well done although defeated by the Danes.

Just wondering, what will be the tactical approach tomorrow...

Happy Mother's Day!

A wonderful day for a special one. She does something extra ordinary for her children. She does the best for her family. I'm really proud to have important figures in my life, my mom, mom-in-law, and especially my wife, a mom of my soon to be 3 children. Thanks a lot and love you all.

Review of the week

1. Manchester United was so desperately hoped that Liverpool should have done better against Chelsea
2. A teenager was shot dead by police in Shah Alam
3. BN won the Hulu Selangor by-election with slim majority
4. Selangor Sultan disallowed any attempts to use mosques as political platform for any political parties
5. Double Trouble concert was very encouraging and more than 20,000 fans were enjoyed themselves at Bukit Kiara Equestrian Centre.
6. Two additional victims of H1N1 passed away......
7. Nik Aziz was reported to be assassinated soon in Facebook
8. etc..

Many interesting stories.....but the news about a teenager shot dead by the police really shocked me. Many bloggers commented and I'm not interested to comment anymore. How come a 15 years old boy can be a criminal as accused by the police? When I looked the photo of the boy, very innocent face, naive....

However, another interesting question is, why his sister allowed him to drive her car? Hopefully the Royal Commission should investigate the case thoroughly.......al-fatihah
