2014.....a weekly review

MYAlumni Cluster Higher Education Department

• I went to KL for a meeting from 12-14 January 2014.
• I was nominated as the committee member for MyAlumni Cluster of Higher Education Department (MOE) to undertake special projects for alumni in Thailand this May.
• There were representatives from Alumni Offices of public and private universities attended this meeting too.
• I also attended a meeting organised by Alumni UUM KL chapter to discuss about homecoming project during the 30th UUM's anniversary.
• etc.

A Visit to Gunung Jerai

• I took my family to Gunung Jerai on 19/1/2014.
• They were so happy as we spent few hours there.
• The scenery was superb and the weather also great.
• So many visitors there and the hotel was fully booked too.
• Luckily, my Samsung Note 3 managed to capture few interesting moments there.
• One of UUM alumni, Dato Md. Nizam Md. Sherriff came to Alor Star for the Birthday of His Majesty the Sultan of Kedah Darul Aman
• I have a dinner with him and his wife.
• etc.

A Visit.....

1. My friend who stays in Brunei spent her vacation  in Malaysia for 2 weeks.
2. I have not met her about 17 years I think.
3. She married to a Brunei's government officer.
4. I took her and her family for a breakfast.

UKE.....UAI

1. I've been following few ustaz for their teachings through youtube.
2. To name a few, I follow Ustaz Kazim Elias Al-Hafiz (UKE), Dato Ustaz Shamsuri Haji Ahmad, Ustaz Ismail Kamus, Ustaz Bollywood etc.
3. UKE, is certainly my favorite ustaz though, follow by Dato Ustaz Shamsuri Haji Ahmad.
4. UAI, or Ustaz Azhar Idrus also very phenomenal ustaz recently.
5. He manages to get crowds stick to his teaching session without fail.
6. His style, some say very light and straight forward able to attract young audiences effectively.
7. His capability has been utilized accordingly during few BE and GE12 and GE14.
8. In fact, during the new year eve 2014, he was invited for special event organised by Penang State Government in Butterworth.
9. I heard so many people joint the event.
10. I was unsure how many time the wrod "bo*oh being said during the event though.

Marina Mahathir....

1. My friend forwarded a link of news about Marina Mahathir recently.
2. She visited a church in Klang to show her solidarity of supporting liberalism in religion I guess.
3. And, I heard some of the SIS members also joint her.
4. So many bloggers commented about this.
5. I also posted a question to my friends about the incident.
6. What will be their stand if the person involved was not Marina Mahathir? Especially when the person is related to a political party.
7. As I expected, the comments from them were very defensive....
8. I still remember when an Ustaz was delivered a sermon during a kuliah at my Surau few years back. It is very easy for a Muslim to become apostate. You may find so many ustaz can give clearer explanations. 
9. etc.

The 2014......issues and challenges....part I

1. My friend forwarded the above photo this evening.
2. It was a straight forward photo, very simple and I have added a dialog bubble to make the photo more interesting.
3. The issue of tolerance level and humanity among Malaysians can be synthesized from the photo.
4. The pregnant woman perhaps should be offered a seat by the green-colored shirt female I guess.
5. She should be more humane........ 

The 2013 Year End Snippets

KL VISIT: INDUSTRIAL PHD SUPERVISION

1. I went to KL few days before the new year, 2014 to supervise my student.
2. And I took my family too and celebrated the 12th anniversary of my wedding.
3. I surprised my wife and gave her a bouquet of flower. 
4. She really surprised......when I also shot a simple video for this special moment.
5. The most important thing.......we have enjoyed so many things together...and I pray to Allah our love will last forever.

KUANTAN: ALUMNI REUNION 2013

1. I was invited to a program organised by UUM Alumni 1988&1989 batches.
2. It was really well organised and I managed to meet so many friendly new friends.
3. I also met my former student who is working as PRO in MPK.

Alumni Futsal Fiesta 2013

1. The program was successfully organised, Alhamdulillah.
2. My team won 1st place and won RM1000 prize.
3. Many teams registered and I think they really satisfied.
