I've tried 2 times.....but failed with tonnes of excuses and reasons by the management. But as soon as I've graduated my Ph.D, I've contacted the management and asked their justification why I shouldn't be promoted for DS52. Finally, I've managed to get it. Many changes in the terms and conditions for DS52 post. I hope my wife will work harder to finish her Ph.D as soon as possible. I'll always support her.

It's just one minute.......

I always stress this issue...TIME MANAGEMENT to my students. Some of them seem not to bother much, some really take it seriously. Yes, I make it very clear to my students, any assignment submission must strictly follow the deadline. No compromise. I just want to train them, respect the TIME. It's no need for 20, 30 or 60 minutes, 1 minute is enough to demonstrate whether you're late or not. I just want to highlight to my student, whenever he/she unable to follow the standard set, that's it! This attitude must be changed. What I'm worried most if he/she still takes very lightly about time.....and the consequences are really bad......especially when he/she attends job interview....

Chocolate, is it good for health?

If you're a chocolate lover, try to eat dark chocolate rather than the ordinary one. It's better in term of the nutrition. But, keep it minimum. dark chocolate is good for your heart, as well as helps to reduce blood pressure. I still remember, during my study time, I used to eat Cloud 9 1 bar a day....and the price was really reasonable, RM0.20....... at that time.

CV....or... Resume?
Recently, my ex-students contacted me, to seek an advice. Yes, certainly, I would be very grateful to advise them. The main concern, of course, about writing a CV. I think all students able to write a CV. But, to write a convincing one, surely needs some skills and knowledge. I've been a practicum coordinator and visited few organizations back in 2002-2003. The feedback got from these organizations, some were ok, some were not ok.....
What really surprised me was in UUM there are many workshops conducted in order to give students knowledge about writing up an outstanding and marketable CV. Of course, the students will be charged accordingly. Yet, what happened was....the CV format was very identical to Jobstreet format.........
If students asked me, I will help them. I always tell myself, be kind to people, and the reward will be from Allah swt.....insyaAllah...
UUM's convocation is just few weeks to go, and all students are looking forward to attend this wonderful event in their lives.....congrats!
