KTP RESEARCH GRANT MEETING& WORKSHOP

• My research team organised a meeting and workshop to finalise few important chapters in our module for broiler contract farmers.
• We have chosen Sunway Hotel Seberang Jaya.
• I spent 2 days only as I have a planned program in KL.
• We have discussed and decided important points.

July....2013

• It's always a special month for me.
• 2 very important people in my life celebrate their birthday in July.
• On 14 July, my wife celebrated her birthday.
• We went for a breaking fast a restaurant somewhere in Jitra.
• I asked about a gift she wanted....for her special day.
• Guess what was her birthday gift requested?

Ramadhan......1434H.....

I feel something different about this Ramadhan.
I become more cautious before speak.
I become more careful to voice my opinions
I become more caring about my family.
I feel more comfortable to talk to my wife and children.
I hope, this the 'barakah' of Ramadhan to me and my family too.
In fact, my mother also in great health as she fasts at my brother's house in KL. Alhamdulillah.....I hope...I can become a true muslim.........insyaAllah...

Ramadhan Al-Mubarak

• The holy month of Ramadhan was celebrated peacefully on 10 July 2013.
• However, on Tuesday, a day before the Ramadhan starts, an event to recognise the achievements of UUM staff was organised. My friend, Dr. Chandrakantan was promoted to Associate Professor (DS 54).
• My deputy director of alumni centre also received his award for excellence service.

BAZAR RAMADHAN @ STADIUM DARUL AMAN

• I took my family to the bazar Ramadhan at the state stadium  in Alor Setar
• So many people rushed to buy foods and drinks for the breaking of fast.
• I really hope that the concerned department manages to look after the prices of foods and drinks sold there.

A happy week....Alhamdulillah....

• My wife and I were so happy when both of our sons performed well in their study.
• The Excellence Award Day was organised by the SKDH teachers.
•  On 6 July, I attended a program organised specifically for the parents of standard 4-6 students. 
• A motivational speech was delivered by a guest speaker from INSANIAH.
• I always support any activities organised by SKDH.

Malacca....Lumut...Ipoh....

•  I was invited to RICTD Conference last week.
• Special arrangement was done by PKNM CEO, Datuk Yussoff Haji Jantan one of the UUM alumni in Malacca to materialize the event.
• In fact, a driver was ready at the KLIA to fetch me to Malacca.
• What I was proud of, during the dinner of RICTD, Alumni of UUM Malacca Chapter was also launched.
• About 30 alumni managed to turn up for the event.

Before I went back to KL, I requested the driver to stop for a lunch at Hajah Rahmah Ibrahim restaurant. It's a very common place for eateries. 

As my flight from Subang Airport was re-timed, so I visited one of my students at APMM. He is a lieutenant commander  at APMM.

BOUSTEAD NAVAL SHIPYARD, LUMUT

•  I went to supervise my Ph.D. student at the Boustead Naval Shipyard on 28/6-29/6/2013.
• So many interesting things can be learned there.
• I also managed to see some of the facilities of the Royal Malaysia Navy.

 Along....was not feeling well........he had a fever.....

 MYDIN HYPERMALL@MERU JAYA

•  This was my first visit to Mydin Meru Jaya Mall (I think it's the right name)
• I really appreciated the effort done by the Mydin management to provide a very spacious, clean and comfortable surau.
• I think it can accommodate about 200 people at one time.
