Badan Amal & Kebajikan Alyssa

On 27/9/2010 many reporters (TV1, Astro Awani, Harian Metro, Sinar Harian, Bernama, etc.) were coming to the Taman Tunku Sarina because of the mud flood incident yesterday. The mud flood problem has been given priority by various agencies such as MDKP, DO office, YB office, the developer, etc. It has been reported in the news at 5.00pm and 8.00pm in TV1 national news. More importantly, Badan Amal dan kebajikan Alyssa plays its role to ensure this incident won't happen again....

It's been raining heavily for 1/2 hour I think around 6.45pm-7.15pm. Water and mud from the hill side at the back of my neighbours' house were unstoppable. Within few minutes 6 houses were badly damaged.

When Dato' Zaki called me, I joint them few minutes later. We managed to help the victims and cleaned all the affected houses until nearly 12 am....

Reporter from Bernama was there as well to observe and report the incident. This morning, RTM & Harian Metro also visited the site. My deepest condolence to all my friends who were ht]hit by the mud flood.

listening to radio...

I like to listen to the radio when I'm driving to the office every morning. My favorite channel, Sinar FM. The combination of three DJs make the morning session so lively. Kudos to the management. What is your favorite channel?? I used to listen to Hot FM quite some time ago....but now, no more....

Am I too serious??

Today my department's head and I had a short meeting. We've discussed few things.....exam related, ISO audits, class related, etc.
In my opinion, I've given equal treatment to all of my students. Motivate them to work harder, to enlighten their analytical skills, to share the sweet and sour of working life....etc....
Of course, I might be frustrated if they didn't bother my advices.....Sometimes some of them made me nervous and nearly collapsed........
I really hope they change their study style...work in groups, read notes and discuss with friends....I also encourage them to meet regularly, but, some of them still don't even know where is my office, my phone number and email address......
So, to my beloved students, please change your attitude OK.....There were students asked me about myself and my working experiences....and I really glad to share with them....

It's not easy to get an article to be published in a journal. But, the credit should be given to my mentor and my supervisor Assoc. Prof. T. Ramayah. He really drives me to work harder. He has no hesitation to help students as well.

They need an advice.....regularly

My students will take a simple but quite complicated quiz tomorrow. It's just 20%....not so much for some of them. But, for those who really eager to ensure better grade....a single mark is certainly becomes a priority. I wish them all the best. As I always highlight in my class....."please come and see me if you have problem...." but not many come........
A student from other class surprisingly met me and asked for my advice......I don't have any hesitation to help her of course......giving some valuable motivations to study hard....

Who actually murdered DSL & others?

The recent top rated murder case has brought a very big issue. Whether or not the police has the case to charge the suspects in court. Possibly, so many lawyers are interested to defend all the suspects and the case.....will be postponed...again and again....

Hopefully the justice will be prevailed....
