He's done it again.....

A Chinese guy, if I'm not mistaken, Namewee or his real name, Wee Meng Chee, is said to be very talented.....studying abroad. But, please bear in mind, respect people and be humble. He's written songs....and most of them "satisfying his social observations". I personally don't like to comment on his songs....but when it's over the board, surely something must be considered. Respect other people, ok. I strongly urge the law enforcement agencies to look into this matter seriously.

Firecrackers.......

It was reported many cases of injuries due to firecrackers. Most tragic ones of course, a six-year old boy who passed away when his father's firecrackers store exploded 3 days ago. In Alor Setar, few cases also reported as well as in Terengganu, Kelantan and other states.

Haven't they learnt something??

Brain Check

What a shock story! An innocent child slaughtered by his own father. I can't imagine how he suffered and screamed to his death. My deepest condolence to him and his family....al-fatihah.

One thing for sure is, all females should really consider to check the background of their future-husband candidates.....formally or informally in order to avoid any mental illness affect later on.....

Indonesia...again...and.......again

They claimed they have the most Muslim in the world. But, recent activities in Jakarta seemed not to reflect how Muslim should be behaving. Of course, Indonesia also quite unique as they allow Muslim & Christian or other religions to be getting married.

They think they are so great and I wait for Malaysian government to response on this issue.

Ramadan Buffet

Finally, JAKIM listed the non-halal/non-compliance to halal requirements restaurants/hotels in the newspaper. It certainly a very big obligation for Muslim to take this issue seriously. If you've been to these premises before, without knowing this non-compliance, it' s OK. But, once you've already known these premises....STOP....and find other places for dining....

Jaundice

My new born baby was admitted to Jitra Hospital for NNT or neonatal jaundice. It's common to new born baby anyway and related to excess bilirubin level in the blood due to the immaturity of the baby's liver which leads to slow processing of bilirubin . But, extreme level of bilirubin can cause problems. That's why when the Banai Clinic's nurse referred my son to the Jitra Hospital I just went there without questions. Hope my son's will be okay and can be discharged soon.

ASTRO....the culprit!

Are there any other satellite tv service providers in town? Just want to change and look forward for it. I wait patiently every weekend to watch BPL live telecast. As the monopoly in satellite tv provider, ASTRO has done things strategically. I foresee they will increase the subscription fees and demand for more business opportunities from government. New channels were introduced and will be introduced. If I were the Prime Minister, I will be terminating this lousy monopoly and create more companies to provide the satellite tv....it's time to change new satellite service provider!

I'm happy as my wife delivered our 3rd child on Friday, 13/8/2010@INS Specialist Alor Setar. I've been in the labor room with my wife to support her during the glorious moments. So emotional....and happy of course. Along & adik Amir were so excited with their new little brother...

Feel great and know very big responsibility ahead.....

another baby was thrown away.....

Who's fault is it? This week 4-5 cases of dead newly-born babies were found. They're thrown away in waste bins, left at bus stops, thrown into rivers, toilets, etc.

I pray to Allah swt.....forgive us....Ya Allah...

Ramadhan 1431H

The 1st Ramadan is always a big moment for me. Feel so lucky to be in this lovely country and enjoy the biggest month in Islam calendar peacefully. Feel so sad for some of Muslim in other countries who are really suffering from terrible natural disasters, i.e. Pakistan, India, China, Poland, etc. and also brothers and sisters in Palestine...hope they will be very patient.....

To my students....please be very patient and study hard....

I am very happy. Finally, my hard work...shows the result. Alhamdulillah. I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to my mom, wife, children, in-laws, bros. & sis., friends, lecturers, supporting staff of UUM & USM, government, etc. But, last but not least, my supervisor, Prof. T. Ramayah. He has shown a very good example how to become a researcher, lecturer and student.
Unfortunately, my wife, mom and children couldn't make it to join me in the convo. Yet I was so lucky yesterday, as an Angel managed to join my memorable moments.......thanks so much Angel.....

Should be or shouldn't be allowed??

Some said...it should be allowed. Some, not agreed. For me, it is very simple. Just allow them to actively participate in politics. Many politicians were from teachers....so what?? Even, Penang's Deputy Chief Minister also was a professor at UKM few years back. Some cabinet ministers also from academicians as well.

I'm happy..and nervous...

Last week I finally received the letter from IPS USM confirming the senate meeting for my Ph.D. This simple letter actually means so much to me. I hope for promotion soon, insyaAllah.
