A blessing.......

Today was a great surprise for me. I've been appointed as the new Director for Alumni Centre UUM. However, I was not able to attend the submission of credential since I didn't get the information earlier.....and I was involved in a Proton Holdings Bhd. HR Director visit to my school. I just want to express my gratitude to the Vice Chancellor to appoint me for the post (luckily my friend informed him about my absent).

More importantly, 29/7/2011 my celebrates her 81st birthday....and I really happy because she's staying with me for almost 1 year now. My wife and I plan for a birthday party at brother's house tomorrow in Sungai Petani...

I pray to Allah SWT for her health, prosperity and happiness...

Marhaban Ya Ramadhan....

It's just another week to go before we meet the most awaited moment......Ramadhan Al-Mubarak....

I hope this year I manage to achieve my goal.....maximum reward....and my fast is just for Allah SWT...rabbul jalil.....

a novel....

I like to read novels.....and some of my favourite authors are Sidney Sheldon, David Morrell, Roderick Thorp and many more. But, during my campus life, I've read quite a number of novels unfortunately, I could not understand much...even I needed a dictionary to assist me understand some new vocabularies......

Some of the novels were adapted to movies such as Rambo-First Blood (David Morrell), Die Hard-Nothing Lasts Forever (Roderick Thorp), The Doomsday Conspiracy (Sidney Sheldon) and others.....

Oh no!!!!.....not again....

How many of us eat sausages everyday? What about our children? Do they buy it at school canteen? A report from local newspaper really surprised me. A pig sausage which has been imported from Spain was sold freely in a hypermarket.
How to detect this type of sausage? Please check these words..i.e. Chorizo (Spain, Mexico), Chourico (Portugal)...

A tale of a ring

Does it really make sense? A ring is RM24 millions? But, that was what have been exposed in some blogs (political blogs, of course). Some said...the ring belongs to a VVIP's wife. I don't know....whether it is true or not because it seems that bloggers are really knowledgeable and they know every single thing...

14 July comes again....

Every year....14 July always a special day for me. It's my wife birthday and we've celebrated since I met her back in 2000....

New office....new energy!

It's very tiring week for me. I spent the whole week to pack and unpack my stuff and officially on Sunday, 10/7/2011....I moved in to my new office. It's very pleasant atmosphere and pleasant environment....

Congratulations to PDRM@RMP!

I dedicate this special to gratitude t0 PDRM@RMP for their efforts and commitments to ensure Malaysian citizens live peacefully. They also manage to reduce a significant number of fatal road accidents when roadblocks are activated at strategic locations. Kudos to PDRM@RMP!

More importantly...the useless mass gathering on 9 July will be controlled efficiently.

Who should be blamed? Is it his family? Is it the state government? Is it the society? I can't understand...why some people show their lack of Islamic practice.......

Relocate...to a new building.....

It's a very busy week for me in UUM, but luckily, I manage to do some publication works during at my home.....

My department, Operations, Technology and Logistics/Transportation Management will be moved to a new building....

Many things need to be disposed and packed.....very tiring though....

Yesterday, 3/7/2011, we have a Yassin recital at the new main office in the new building...

Toyota Wish Aircond Servicing

I spent RM860.00 today to service my Wish air condition. It's quite costly but the charge was lower compare to an air condition service centre in Jitra. The mechanic asked for RM1500.00! Luckily, my closed friend, Dr. Mohamed Najib Salleh introduced me to a service centre in Alor Star and managed to save RM 640.00!
It's really complicated job to do the servicing though. And, it took more than 7 hours to complete the job.

A former student...now becomes a friend, a brother....and an uncle..........to my kids....

We have our dinner at a restaurant......Pokok Naga....

We went back to Kg. Tok Dam...to have fruits feista!
