3 Things: Ph.D. Viva Voce.....Soursop....Songkhla

  1. I was very happy as my 1st Ph.D. student, Mr. Mohamad Haroon Hafez passed his viva voce last Sunday.
  2. Although there were some misunderstanding about the procedures of viva voce, i.e. during deliberation session, none of the supervisors were allowed to be in the meeting room (in USM, the supervisors are in the deliberation session together with examiners, chairperson and secretary. The supervisors will ensure he/she defends his/her student during this session.
  3. I look forward for him to submit the corrections and hopefully able to graduate this year.

  1. I also very happy when I discovered that a soursop plant (Annona muricata) is fruiting.
  2. It took nearly three years I guess.....for me to wait for this moment.
  3. Hopefully, I can bring back 1 or 2 pieces for my mom....

  1. I went to Songkhla and Hat Yai yesterday.
  2. The visit was an initial discussion for a special program that will be organised in May 2014.
  3. I manged to meet the General Consulate and his Deputy
  4. My team also had a good lunch at a restaurant in Songkhla.
